Meet Mandy. Mandy recently was given a point-and-shoot camera as a gift. Mandy liked taking pictures, so she joined the online photography sharing web site, Flickr. My demands are simple: I want to be able to wirelessly accesss my files from both my PC and my laptop, at the same time. The hard drive containing the files need only be accessible from my home (not from the Internet), and a short range wireless would be best. I’ve kept an eye open for development in plug computer technology, and I wonder if it’s almost there for my use. (more…)
Sometimes I like to reflect on where I’ve been and where I’m going at work. I’m not talking about any “greater scheme of things”, but rather how my programming is progressing. The book “Code Complete Second Edition“, by Steve McConnell, has me thinking about this again. Rather than let my memory of everywhere I’ve been in my programming at Sharp HealthCare fade away over time, I’ve decided it’s time to put it to words.

I’ve been considering for some time installing WordPress for Kurifuri. While I have other sites for writing about fiction writing or photography, I didn’t have a catch-all place for writing about anything else. Now I do.
